![]() ![]() I am going to list off the good and bad things about this park. I just went to this park today and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Even partial refunds were "off the table", even though we effectively wasted half of our visit. I'm visiting from out of state and won't likely be back for years, so the free day ticket they offered would be useless. Customer relations weren't able to do anything satisfactory to improve our experience. I understand that maintenance issues happen, but if they cannot confidently re-open a ride after an issue, they should just keep it closed so visitors know not to waste their time. Assuming the problem was resolved (and again, wanting to ride one of the marquee rides in the park), we get in line, only to wait another long while for the ride to break down, and be told to vacate the line. Despite a promising first couple of hours, at least half of our park visit was wasted in line waiting for the Joker (one of the main draws for visiting the park), only for the ride to experience maintenance problems right as we were about to board the train, and were told to vacate the station. Ī very disappointing first (and likely only) experience at Discovery Kingdom. Horrible people working there definitely none of them belong there as employees Please nobody take your children there or your loved ones better yet please don't go period. Dirty and when all the children and adults were getting off n on all the rides never once did I see any kind of sanitation nor was there any sanitizer and when we got off the rides I asked ride worker for sanitizer he was clueless where to find any. Crazy people working everywhere so so so so bad. God it was horrible and in the gift shops all ridiculous pricing was even misleading. they spoke to kids with no sense of the fact that they are children I mean they just don't belong to b employees at six flags. I mean what kids watch Looney tunes anymore everything is so old there the coolest thing they have was the DC rides superman,batman,etc but be prepared to spend your whole day in line to get on two of those rides cuz those employees there are so slow and deadbeats that they do not make the line move way faster than it they were, they were all just uncoordinated no routine or sense of timely matter the employees r lazy and have no answers to and questions and if they did they were uncertain and misguiding and guessing whatever.!. That had to be the most horrible experience I have ever paid so much for I cannot believe how horrible that place was first thing that needs to go is every single employee that works there otherwise there's no hope it's just an old looking horrible area with rides that were ridiculous except for the DC rides those were expected though at the very least and nothing was clear on where it was located there were no food stands barely but in one spot there's nothing available to drink when you walk in, I had to walk around for about 20 minutes just to find something to drink which was a vending machine but I didn't realize that the machine gave the most horrible service as well ,it charged me supposedly $6 for a 24 oz drink I got a Dasani and a Coca-Cola which should have came out to $12 but when I look at my bank statement instead of 2 charges 6$ for each soda it charged me $10 it was the worst 20 dollars I'd ever spent in my life I was ripped off on top of that I was scammed I can't believe a vending machine even ripped me off that place needs to be shut down and redone or just shut down. ![]()
